As it is, NASA shafted New York when it choose the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum as the final resting place for Enterprise, the only space shuttle that never actually made it into space, but at least that’s better than nothing.

Now, a few other states are totally trying to snatch away the rubbish orbiter. First Ohio tried to steal it and now Washington—the state—is vying for it.

Governor Christine Gregoire wrote a poignant letter to the space agency, claiming that NY isn’t unfit for the honor compared to her state. Damn lady, lay off. NASA’s ghetto shuttle is ours and that’s that.
