The MTA will do away with what many riders consider to be its most obnoxious announcement. That would be the one which plays when a train is “delayed” and asks people to “please be patient,” even though everyone is already being very patient.
Instead, there will be no mention of the word delay and the transit agency will offer an apology for the inconvenience. Its been reported that straphangers haven’t liked the recording since it was first implemented in the late 1990′s, which means it only took the MTA a little over a decade to correct the problem. How about doing away with all of them unless they're specific about a service change? Do we really need "courtesy is contagious"?
They should say:
your dick aint tha big…close your legs.
don’t stand by the door idiot you’re blocking the door, delaying service.
wear you bookbag on your front dumbass
etc…
