The MTA will release maps every Friday on their website that aim to explain all of the horrible construction going on that weekend. Thanks for the added clarity, but we still just want our trains to run on time. You can also view the map one borough at a time, so Brooklynites can now realize in under 30 seconds how landlocked they are until Monday morning comes around.

The Weekender really is a nice effort though because as Thomas Prendergast, the President of MTA explains, “even the most veteran subway riders can be frustrated and confused when service is reconfigured and information is hard to find.” Nothing’s worse than going to ride a train and seeing that annoying pink tape.
