We’re used to Banksy poachers going to ridiculous lengths to acquire his pricey work, but what the Keszler Gallery has done is utterly disgusting.
They hired anonymous individuals to travel to Palestine, chisel out Banksy’s well-known pieces from the West Bank’s 2007 Santa’s Ghetto project and smuggle it out for an unsanctioned show in the Hamptons.
There’s something morbidly ironic in Keszler bombastic attempt to benefit off a high-profile human tragedy by robbing it off this symbolic, peace-sympathizing art. Party up, fuckers.
If the owners of this gallery like vandalism so much, someone should bring it to them. I can't think of anyone more deserving of some etched (or bricked) windows…

Next time the property owner should ring up Banksy and plead that he be an obliging lord: “Please sir, may I cut away a chunk of his own wall and sell it to some sucker in the Hamptons.” When I piss on something if becomes mine, right?
