He can’t understand why fellow straphangers refuse to join him in a spontaneous chant of U-S-A- and basically blames it on the L train, writing:
I attempted this the first day after news of Osama Bin Laden’s death. FAIL. “Next stop Bedford Ave” should have warned me.
Actually the tired look on their faces was warning enough.
