ANIMAL friend Meg Robertson was walking on 15th Street near 5th Avenue and snapped photos of a massive pipe laying on the sidewalk. Workers told her they were repairing the sewer and had to remove part of a water main to get to it. One of the guys told her the pipe was “probably 80 or 100 years old” and that the vomit-worthy gunk coating it was “calcium buildup.” Just yuck! (Photos: Meg Robertson/flickr)
