This anti-cycling madness is starting to swerve way the hell out of control. At this point, I don’t give a shit what the New York Post, Daily News, and now, New York magazine writes about the bike lanes, it’s the actions of the police in Central Park that really disturbs me. And I’m not just talking about their red light idiocy.
According to Gothamist, several cyclists were issued SPEEDING TICKETS early this morning. Wait, what?
The cops reportedly posted up at the bottom of a hill and with a radar gun outstretched, were clocking people and handing out hefty tickets ($350) to those caught doing over 15 mph. One problem with that though: 15 mph is not the maximum speed limit in the park.

OK, i get it. According to cyclists, drivers must religiously obey every rule on the books, but cyclists only need to obey the rules they find convenient because they are Saving The Earth.
