As outrageous as these notices instructing Hasidic women in Brooklyn to stay fashionably oppressed are, this edict requiring them to move out of the way when a man walks down the street seems that much more egregious.

It sounds like these cultists have something in common with the Taliban. Religion is no excuse for the oppression of women.
