technicolor nightmare
The first time I saw this picture as a child it shocked me to the core. Even now I just cant reconcile that serene meditative face that's half on fire. Knowing what I know now about war, I full embrace this monk's sacrifice and only wish that today people felt that same way about the horrible price of war rather than acting as if its a video game with no real consequences.

Beautiful coloring job on an iconic pic. Remember this one as a kid, and it still has a big impact. Horrible scene, but big-time conviction to go through that……
