Ah, it’s the ol’ “Rihanna rips off so-and-so!” story again, as if she had actually consciously sifted through the photographic works of Sølve Sundsbø to pick images to bite…
And she didn’t just, you know, show up to shimmy rigorously for several hours, perchance vomit from exhaustion and maybe give a little worried thought to that lawsuit she settled for plundering David LaChapelle’s work and cross her fabulous fingers hoping that her various creative and directorial teams didn’t get her into a mess again. So, yes, the central images of the “You Da One” video do bare a striking resemblance to Sundsbø’s famous work but…
…everyone just paid attention to that Clockwork Orange outfit and the disembodied mouth. Hmm, the mouth is actually very Rocky Horroresque or maybe akin to this “Not I” theater clip from 1973 or probably some sort of rock thing from the ’80s that I’m too young and Russian immigrant-y to have seen on TV…
No official statements yet, well, you know. Here comes another lawsuit. There’s no originality in music videos. Blah blah blah.

I think you're giving her too much credit by saying Rhianna stole someone else's idea. It's a coporate mob of brokers, designers, writers, agents and interns that actually do the thinking for her. Unless you mean, Rhianna Inc.
Exactly and that's what it says in the post I just wrote.
Haha. Zing!
She and Lady Gaga should sing a song together called "Me Against The Music" and Jonas Akerland can shoot the video and Mario Testino can do the photography.
I also see a bit of Alex DeLarge (A Clockwork Orange) in that video; overused played out anywhos.
That's also mentioned in the post.
sorry, it was hard to read.
