So, after removing their ‘Occupy All Streets’ t-shirts from the Rocawear website over the weekend, surprise, they’re for sale again. According to Russell Simmons’ Global Grind website, which can’t be trusted and whose editor-in-chief gave Jay-Z a blog-world blowjob, the shirts were never “pulled,” except they were.
Another questionable hip hop source that lacks objectivity, Rap Radar, says the reason for the mysterious disappearance was because the shirts “sold out.” Hmm.
Considering that the tees were and still are on backorder until December 16th, this makes no sense either. Why wouldn’t they just keep taking orders? Answer: No one said Hov and his marketing team wasn’t savvy.
There’s still PURPOSEFULLY been no announcement whether or not they’ll give any proceeds to Occupy Wall Street, but at this point, who really cares? It’s obvious both Jay-Z and Russell Simmons, both of whom are very familiar with the ins and outs of charitable product launches, are playing games. MIC CHECK!

Here's a bit of irony. Jay-Z™ seems to think he owns any use of the word "Jay" and the letter "Z" despite only having a copyright on the term "Jay-Z" and has been attacking sites, including NO CTRL for responding to his blatant exploitation of the OCCUPY movement. Fuck these 1%ers.
