snuffHollywood actor Shia LaBeouf recruited Kid Cudi and Cage to star as “serial killers” in this ten minute faux-docu short Maniac. Lots and lots of Murder. French subtitles. Desaturated post-pro. Blood everywhere. Plot nowhere.

Yeah, not all child actors like LeBeouf blossom into young gentlemen with dap. Not sure if this is better than LeBeouf’s Marilyn Manson video/Jodorowsky hand-job, but the boy’s trying to channel his furious creative spirit somewhere other than bizarre bar brawling, let’s give him that. He just needs a little direction.
