Holland’s version of Republicans passed the worst law ever and by the end of the year, foreigners will be banned from enjoying the best thing about the country since the 1970s: its cannabis-filled coffee shops. Only citizens of the Netherlands will be permitted to purchase exquisite buds, but now they’ll have to sign up for one year memberships.
As you can imagine, in addition to the global weed community, elected officials in Amsterdam are against the tourist-cleansing measure, which may go down as the most severe overreaction to British drunkenness by the Dutch ever. However, it should be noted that not all of the old city’s romantic allure will be off limits to travelers and they can still count on unfettered access to prostitutes.
Dutch Health Minister says: "This law will put an end to the nuisance and criminality associated with …drug trafficking." How high do you have to be to think that's true?
