Between 10,000 and 20,000 people amassed in Times Square last weekend, making it the largest Occupy Wall Street demonstration to date. And while many of you may have seen what it looked like from the ground—whether it was protesters facing off with horses or them making the NYPD retreat—here’s an overhead time lapse view.
It was uploaded to YouTube earlier today and the person who made it offers the following details about the short clip:
The clip starts at 4 p.m. on Saturday, 15 October 2011 and ends at 1 a.m. the next day. It shows the police first setting up barriers, the Occupy Wall Street protesters gathering at around 0:40 in the video, leaving at around 0:55, and then everything getting back to normal. The frames were taken 30 seconds apart and played back at 15 frames per second.
