This Sunday, millions of people will sit around and willingly watch hours of expensive commercials interspersed between brief snippets of a sporting event. They’re the most important spots ever created and with the internet, are being released before the game even starts.

And not just teasers. Volkswagen uploaded their Super Bowl spot to YouTube and it already racked up over 5.6 million hits, making it a certifiable viral video success. I don’t really see what the big deal is, but will say, this piece of Star Wars cinema is better than anything George Lucas has done with the franchise in the last decade.
