A bond-brokering single mom from St. Louis is taking credit for hiring the plane that towed an aerial banner over Manhattan on Tuesday which read: “Thanks For The Downgrade. You Should All Be Fired.” It was flown near Wall Street and since the S&P offices are in the same vicinity, some news outlets assumed the notice was targeting the financial services company, but the woman says her message was intended for Congress and she would have done it in DC, if not for the airspace restrictions.
