This montage of Twin Tower Cameos from Dan Meth is damn thorough. The WTC landmark has an important place film history — in wide shots, its silhouette signified it’s really really NYC and its looming girth pontificated how giant that giant monster ape was. Here it is, in all its tragically short-lived glory.
This supercut’s editing is superb — the soundtrack flows from Talking Heads to Biggie as the visuals flips through the decades… Also great: It didn’t end in a montage of the post-9/11 site. That would have been too sad.
