For those who heard that last week’s May Day events were something of a dud, Thomas Scarlett has this response. His video of the demonstrations in Union Square, set to Rage Against the Machine (whose Tom Morello performed at the rally), uses a combination of timelapse and tilt shift to illuminate the droves and droves of protesters. Aside from highlighting the manic energy of last Monday, the video also just looks pretty sweet.
