Ooh, art supercut! Cut from the 1972 film by Emile de Antonio Painters Painting, behold — Willem de Kooning, Barnett Newman, Robert Motherwell, Robert Rauschenberg, Kenneth Noland, Jasper Johns and Larry Poons between words, that is – sighing, hand gesticulating, water sipping, ye-e-eing, de-e-eing, hemmmming, and yes, panting. Reminds you of Sarah Palin’s breaths but without the morally murky creepiness. Just snippets of old artists gulping through a fuzz of distressed videotape, skidding on, cut off right before they’re about to say something enlightening. Talk about context.

Yeah this pretty much sums up everything.
Amazing, amazing movie. Wish I was around back then when talking about art actually had some sort of value and integrity.
