There’s a particularly enchanting splatter of pink at the Broadway Station off the G. So, you’re stumbling back to Bed-Stuy and it appears like a vision through your own personal fog, all neon and garish in the staircase, seeping into the cracks and changing pastel hues. Ooh. Ahh. It’s apparently quite the popular splatter of pink.
We could say that it looks like alien barf or… that it is reminiscent of the work of Gutai painter Kazuo Shiraga, as the splatter dribbled off his toe mid a particularly powerful thrust of action painting and took on a form of its own. Pollock who?
