Alternate Film Endings: An Art Show

It didn’t turn out the way you wanted it to, did it?

The Silver Screen Society curated a brand new art show to screw with your favorite movie endings. Alternate Endings opens tomorrow night at the Bottleneck Gallery in Brooklyn, NY. Come for the film-inspired art from a group of young New York artists. Godmachine created a rendition of Akira where Tetsuo won, while Andres Lozano spared Gwyneth Paltrow decapitation in Seven. Rob Loukotka’s got an epic take on the End of Gotham City sans Batman that takes the cake for attention to detail, as Eva Galesloot’s vision for Home Alone, which makes the eight-year old in us cringe with fear. The exhibit runs through January 4th, just long enough to get you through the gut-wrenching happiness of holiday cheer.
