I’ve never been a big fan of 4/20. It always seemed like a dumb day that promotes the worst aspects of pot culture and the terrible stereotypes exhibited by the people who celebrate it, but this year could be a little different if #OpCannabis gains traction. That’s the name of the latest operation being conducted by Anonymous hackers to bring some much needed awareness to the legalization issue, including the role that “big corporations” and government have played in keeping cannabis illegal. Hopefully it will inspire the chronic-smoking masses to do something more conducive than smoking bongs in public and instead encourage them to write their elected officials. You can like #OpCannabis on Facebook or follow them on Twitter.
