Apparently Dinos — one half of the notorious artist duo Chapman Brothers — has been experimenting with sound for 10 years in his East London basement and recorded an album.

He was inspired by “insomnia, horror movies and boredom.”

Can’t wait to hear what it sounds like, because this is what their art looks like.

Sometimes.

It’s meant to sound something like “a naked mole-rat plucked untimely from its snuggly basement-burrow, on its back, all squirmy, exposed to the sun’s dissecting rays” with “the industrial pulse of T/G, wilful experimentation of Stockhausen and impish playfulness of Squarepusher, but sounds like none of them.” Ambitious?

The album comes out in February 2013, featuring 13 tracks of  ”Schlampige Musik.” Dinos also designed the zombie-themed cover, but with track titles like “He Has No Method,” Sputnik,” “Pizza man” and “Cool operator,” it sounds rather internet. This could also have been a good cover for art-LULZ.
