In a few short weeks, the media has made Jeremy Lin out to be larger than life: a titan, a hero, a simple point guard tasked with carrying the Knicks franchise–and quite possibly the NBA and NYC as well. In honor of this newfound responsibility–and crushing pressure–ANIMAL commissioned TATS Cru to paint an Atlas-inspired tribute to the man of the hour. Also, we knew it would get press. The mural is located on 2nd Street at Avenue A and will remain for at least a month, which is hopefully much less time than Jeremy Lin will be able to shoulder the weight of New York’s hopes. He looks black. His haircut isn't even right.
Not trying to hate, but I'm a little bit disappointed in the quality of what I expect from TATS cru.
Reminds me of seeing Lin's first start with my GF
how come the pigeons have space helmets and he doesn't?
He's a demi-god, demi-gods don't need oxygen.
Hilarious mural! love it…… shows that he can accomplish a lot with the help of the Almighty. Got the whole world in his hands, got the whole wide world…….. hahaha.
