Last night, all hell broke loose at Webster Hall when Harley Flanagan, a founding member of legendary hardcore band the Cro-Mags, was accused of stabbing and biting two current members right before they were set to perform as part of a CBGB retrospective concert. Both men were taken to the hospital and treated for nonfatal injuries. Flanagan suffered a broken leg when security subdued him reports Bowery Boogie and according to the New York Post, he was charged with “two counts of 2nd degree assault and weapons charges.” Cro Mags frontman John ‘Bloodclot’ Joseph, who has had a very public feud with the former bassist since the late 80s, emerged unscathed from the incident and in a video that was just posted to YouTube, can be heard telling fans that the NYPD is shutting down the show, but promised they’ll do another one to make up for it in the near future.
