A modern-day Clyde Barrow casually strolled down a small stretch of King’s Highway in Brooklyn this afternoon and robbed three different banks in a half hour at about 2:15 this afternoon. The robber, who is described as a Hispanic man about 5’7″ and 150 pounds walked into an Apple Bank at 1321 Kings Highway with a note demanding money, and left a few minutes later a bit richer. About 15 minutes later, he sauntered into a Capital One at 1226 Kings Highway with the same note, though he left that branch empty-handed. Minutes later, he was in an HSBC at 1621, with the same note. The teller at HSBC handed over the money. What a smooth criminal. (Photo: Chester Oakley/Flickr)
