Come with us now to a phantasmagorical subaqueous world where everything is made of super-shiny gem-stones and glass. Artist Tetsuka Niiyama specializes in ‘Live-Action Composition’ and ‘Aesthetic Depiction’ using computer graphics. His work was featured this year at ArtFutura 2012, an annual festival that celebrates the intersection of technology and art.

Mr. Niiyama decided to illustrate the phrase “Jewels of the Sea” by creating an actual seascape of moving computer-generated crystalline shapes. The result? “Hinode,” three minutes of brain-melting visuals of some serious, serious ice (via Creator’s Project)

Shines bright like a diamond, don’t it?
