As it turns out, it’s not just the man’s politics that are questionable. DJT Steakhouse (that’s Donald J. Trump to you), the flagship restaurant at Las Vegas’s Trump International Hotel, received no less than 51 health code violations during a recent inspection, forcing it to briefly shut down until the errors were corrected. And the transgressions were nasty–inspectors noted expired yogurt, five-month-old duck, and month-old caviar in the steakhouse’s kitchen, among many, many other things.
The restaurant was able to reopen several hours after the failed inspection, but I’d still avoid the place for a while if I were you. I can’t imagine a place that had “no measures to destroy parasites in undercooked halibut and salmon” is acceptably sanitary, even after cleaning up its act.
