Doodle Comes to Life in “Brooklyn Story”

Konrad Moszynski of Mucha DSGN penned this little illustration, apparently on yellow notepad paper. “Brooklyn Story” tells the story of a graffiti artist making his mark in the borough. Naturally, our shadowy protagonist is chased off by cops, but not before he gets “CITY” up on a grocery store gate. Set to Zion I’s “Doin’ My Thang,” the best moment in the animation has little to do with street art: about halfway through the brief sketch, Moszynski has the city flicker from day to night. As the streets get dark, the windows light up like little white stars. And as the windows light up, City makes his move.
