Gabriel Dawe created his newest installation Plexus no. 19 by weaving lots and lots of thread through the railings of the early 19th century neoclassic Villa Olmo in Como, Italy as part of the annual contemporary art exhibition Miniartextil. This year’s exhibition is titled Agora – the Greek word for a place of idea sharing. The installation consist of two large thread structures and is meant to be viewed from different points at different times of day... and we can see how someone would want to run wild around the place looking for the best angle to gawk up and down this thing, this way, that way and every way, because it’s magical. Magical! (Images: MyModernMet.com)
