Imagine a laser show… but exponentially cooler, more artistic and interactive, projected on Antoni Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia. Thanks to the Montreal-based studio Moment Factory 32,000 people got to see an unprecedented multimedia piece entitled ‘Ode à La Vie’ projected on the basilica’s façade. The 15 minute display depicted a figurative retelling of the creation of the universe, by using lots of color, light, sound and woah. It was apparently mind blowing judging by the crowd’s reaction shots in the above video. The piece was created by using 16 video projectors, 13 computers and 25 moving lights. It took four months to be finished just in time for the la mercè festival in Barcelona. Bigger than Jesus? Watch out.
