After working for a few days on graffiti twin duo HOW and NOSM have completed their hurricane-themed mural on the Bowery that resembles the prophetically entitled “Storm Predictions” print they just released, and it unfolds itself as an intricate, surrealistic, narrative tapestry. See what you want in the bloody mouths of toothy fish, in the stacks of slaughtered tree trunks or in the factory-like humanoid forms spilling diamonds and money from their orifices. The center design is clear — a triangle if black sky around a dead grey street light above a triangle of water with floating debris. (Photos: Marina Galperina/ANIMALNewYork)

uhm thats a false info this wasnt about the hurricane at all its dedicated to R.I.P. tony goldman the owner of the district. The piece has a whole different meaning behind it if you talk to the artist!!
We did and that’s what HOW said.
thats not what i heard from them
at least give a shoutout to tony goldman thats the main reason of the theme and goal of the piece
Sam. Don't you think it's possible to have a hurricane-themed mural that is dedicated to Tony Goldman? It's obviously not a Tony Goldman-themed piece. Anyhow, RIP Tony Goldman!
