For anyone  looking for a quick, last-minute reason not to head to Midtown for tonight’s New Year’s celebration, EarthCam has a helpful livestream of the proceedings at Times Square today. At the time of this writing–nearly 12 hours before the ball drops–it’s already a horrifying mass of people.
