Over the past few years, the amount of dollars spent on outdoor advertising has dried up considerably, transforming many of the giant billboards lining the city’s roadways into massive public canvasses for graffiti artists and now, potential courters too. According to the Daily News, a 28-year-old Brooklyn man confessed his love (and guilt) by illegally painting a marriage proposal on a billboard off the BQE. Drew Henkels told the paper that he rolled out the words “Will u marry me Chelsea Mose?” back in June. She said yes. More good news: He hasn’t been arrested and RAMBO, the vandal currently occupying the same billboard who’s also know for sending shout-outs to loved ones, hasn’t gone over him. (Photo: foobarmustache)
