TED Prize winning street artist JR collaborated with the disappearing man Liu Bolin, allowing himself to be painted up to blend into his own giant piece in New York. To be fair, it wasn’t all that hard, considering it’s a giant, high contrast monochrome. 

And yet, nifty camouflaging and potentially handy in keeping safe in conflict-torn places around the world, where JR’s technique achieves his full potential. Or guarding his work in NY from vandals, whatever.
