This is Marilyn Monroe, ditching her full body stocking to plop around naked in the pool on the set of Something’s Got to Give, the film that never was. Because she died. The recently uncovered photographs are on view at the end of the month at the Steven Kasher Gallery.

This is Lawrence Schiller’s first solo exhibition in the United States. Originally spotted by LA Weeky, they’ve arrived for your teary, leery eyes to New York. The exhibit marks the fiftieth anniversary of Marilyn Monroe’s overdose. Nope, not morbid at all.

“You’re already famous, now you’re going to make me famous,” he told her. “Don’t be so cocky. Photographers can be easily replaced,” she said.
