Two members of the Metropolitan Museum of Art are suing because “they — and untold millions of others — were duped into paying for admission or memberships because the institution has done such a good job of hiding the fact that it’s supposed to be free six days a week.”
That’s silly, isn’t?
Sure, the ”recommended” part of the ticket price sign is written in a rather unassuming print, but is it really worth suing for fraud?
Met’s publicist says calls the lawsuit “ludicrous and outrageous,” explaining that, “The suggested admission is $25, but it’s not mandatory. It’s on the signage.”
Apparently, of the 360 surveyed, 85% didn’t know the museum’s admission was free. In other news, people don’t read.

Never spent more than a penny for admission. Dead Serious. The ticket booth woman lady person always gave me dirty looks and I can recall one time said person pointed over to the sign and said something along the lines of, “is this all?”
i paid the suggested price because the person handing me the ticket said "$50" as if it were mandatory and i had an excited 4 year old dying to get inside and see the dinosaur bones. i make minimum wage and didnt eat lunch for a week. id say the fuckers should refund me my money.
Dinosaur bones?
What about the city pass? We pay for everything together, they don't even mention that the adimission is "suggested".. The world is a lie o.O
