Photographer Martin Klimas took photos of paint sputtering upwards from a scrim, just above speakers blasting Miles Davis, Kraftwerk and Steve Reich, boom crash splash. At the shutter speeds of 1/7,000th of a second, you can see the sound vibrations and the visual catharsis of a bursting crescendo. Wow.

Miles Davis. And Kraftwork. Ooh, the notes, the colors.

With a Hasselblad, this German artist most known for freeze-shots of exploding figurines has poured six months and 18.5 gallons of paint into the project. Pretty great stuff.
