Time for some mid-afternoon nostalgia, boys and girls. Elle Perez posted this mystery home video evidently shot in the Bronx in 1970. It’s nearly a half hour long and completely silent, but it’s a really neat little slice of a life about which I admittedly know not a single thing. But it looks pretty cool! Those clothes! That hair! That huge puppy dog! (The video scrolls through the seasons of 1970, and I have to say the winter seasons are sartorially the best by far.) But Perez gives no description of the footage or where or how it was found, so we’re left to wonder.

She says on her tumblr that these are her grandmother’s 8 mm films that she recently had converted. There are more at her grand mothers home in Puerto Rico where she’s going soon to fulfill a grant and complete a photography project.
