Although not technically a space shuttle, since it never actually went into space, New York is more than happy to accept NASA’s retired orbiter Enterprise, but it’s not happening till the end of the week due to less than optimal weather conditions. According to NASA, the piggy-backed flyover of the city’s landmarks like the Statue of Liberty and its resting home, the Intrepid, is scheduled for Friday between 9:30 – 11:30AM. It will then land at JFK Airport and make its arduous journey via barge. (Photo: NASA/flickr)
