It doesn’t mean the same thing in Spain that it does in California, so don’t get giddy. Apparently, there’s some serious light pollution plaguing the streets of Madrid. A lot of it is due to the super-strong cross signage of 24 hour pharmacies, tinting the streets in sallow neon green. Intervention light crew Luzinterruptus steps in to poke some fun at it, planting fluorescent sticks outside three downtown locations. Mutant Weeds!
Straight from the “not-too-distant future, in which a new and hardy species of photosensitive plant grows in the asphalt around the pharmacies, nourished by the photosynthesis of its powerful “low” light.”
