The state known best for Bon Jovi and Snooki finally has something to feel less ashamed about. After numerous delays, New Jersey has officially issued its first medical weed permit to a nonprofit by the name of Greenleaf Compassion Center, based in Montclair. The permit allows for the growing of medical weed but a second permit is required to sell it.
Roughly 45 minutes from most of Manhattan, the dispensary will serve Garden State residents suffering from a whole range of illnesses. Patients will be allowed to receive a healthy two ounces of the green medicine every month. (Photo: Blazenhoff, Flickr)
