Here’s a video that takes the concept of a “New York minute” literally. This speedy (one minute—get it?) little timelapse is shot from at least a dozen different locations throughout Gotham, including from the handlebars, post, and wheels of the videographer’s bike. Starting at sunrise, it shows a whole day and night—okay, mostly night—in the city in deep August. Somehow, these timelapse videos of New York City seem like more authentic portraits of the city that never sleeps than those in real time.
