Ahh, the Sixties. When girls and guys could ride stacked in threes atop their skateboards, plummeting down the slopes of Central Park, and worry not about protective dork-wear. Fun. This collection from LIFE photographer Bill Eppridge is probably the joyous vintage New York series we’ve put on here. Albeit, a modern breeder with squeal something about oncoming traffic, spoilsports. Observe the suit: Ubiquitously skinny-tied and hatted, a nonchalant gent — back in the mid 1960′s… or the last time someone dressed exactly like that riding a skateboard woulnd’t involuntarily cause driblets of vomit to spontaneously bubble up your throat.

Excellent website you have here but I was wondering if you knew of any forums that cover the same topics discussed in this article? I’d really love to be a part of group where I can get feed-back from other knowledgeable people that share the same interest. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Many thanks!
