The outrage over Pussy Riot’s imprisonment is sparking demonstrations all over the place, New York City included. This morning, supporters amassed in front of the Russian consulate, where several of them were arrested for refusing to take off their masks, a violation of an obscure law from 1845 that police enforced heavily during the height of the Occupy Wall Street protests.
