Here’s your afternoon dose of “awwwww.” This short animation tells the story of New York City’s puppies from puppies’ perspectives on the highs and lows of being a dog on the streets of Gotham. About a dozen furry dudes and dudettes, animated by Jenine Durland, share their experiences, including when and how they were found themselves in the city, what’s the biggest choking hazard on the street, and the dating scene for New York barkers. Says one canine, “I like New York because the dogs are more open-minded, so I can actually hump girl dogs or boy dogs and nobody says [anything] or gives a shit.” Yeah, man. This city rules.
