Before graffiti was street art/gallery fodder/museum stuff/big money, graffiti was fun, or so say TAKI 183 and CORNBREAD, reminiscing in a new documentary Wall Writers: Graffiti in Its Innocence. It’s about the early, early days of ’67-’72, narrated by John Waters, naturally and directed by the producer of Banksy’s Exit Through the Gift Shop. There’s an element of irony there, no?
