Recently famous Russian street artist Pavel183 just caused some havoc in Moscow when he installed a functional “Space Invader” under a bridge. It lit up and shot lasers at passing cars. The Russian bomb squad was called to disable the artist’s “traffic jam fighter.” He says,
“I’m shocked at the police reaction. Who could have possibly mistaken a two-meter-wide space invader for a bomb?”
This raises a few questions about the artist’s work. That’s an INVADER homage, right? And this is a Banksy? And this is a ROA? And this is a JR? Nice ski mask. Well, that time he set a bridge on fire was cool.
