The 20 year study, which by most standards is considered a thorough one, was published by the Journal of the American Medical Association, and found that the “Occasional and low cumulative marijuana use was not associated with adverse effects on pulmonary function.”

In other words, smoking weed, doesn’t fuck up your lungs as much as the government has been scary-saying it would.

And to think these participants were sparking “joints” and “pipe bowls.” Imagine if bongs and vaporizers were included? Although the comprehensive research was funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, it directly contradicts all the findings about cannabis on their website. Have fun editing.
