When it comes to luring tourists into giving up their greenbacks for the chance to pose with him in his underwear and call it being “naked,” Robert Burck–the Naked Cowboy–has ruled the Times Square territories for over a decade. But there’s a new guy in town: The Naked Indian (real name: Adam David) has been strolling through the mascot-populated pedestrian plazas and beating his drum for only about three weeks now. And trouble is already a-brewing.

Burck is reportedly threatening to sue David, claiming that he owns the whole “naked” thing and that if the Indian is going to bite his schtick, he has to join his posse and pay him tribute, a demand that isn’t likely to be ratified anytime soon based on the latest testimony from the Native American-like street performer, who told ANIMAL just how he feels about the Cowboy.
